Pokhara is the second most popular tourist destinations after Kathmandu. You can have the best view of the Trishuli and Marshyangdi River, the high hills and the landscapes along the way. At Pokhara you will be taken for sightseeing at this city full of rivers, lakes, waterfalls, caves and temples. After finishing the sightseeing’s and relaxation time at Pokhara, the trip takes us to the Terai plains of Chitwan valley. The beauty of this city and the tasks to do are plenty. You can go for jeep safari, elephant safari, canoeing, bird watching’s etc. at Chitwan National Park. The forest at this national park is dense, luscious, green and beautiful beyond limits. You can encounter few of the animals and experience the wildlife amidst the forests.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu:

Our airport representative will receive you at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and transfer you to your hotel. Depending upon the time of your arrival, the pre-trip meeting will be hosted either on the first day or the first hour of the second day. During the evening, you will be taken for a traditional Nepali welcome dinner . Overnight at a Hotel. Welcome dinner included.

Day 2 : Full day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu:

After your morning breakfast, you will be received by your guide for the sightseeing at Kathmandu. The sites you will be taken for are:

SwoyambhuNath Stupa: Located on the top of the hill, Swoyambhunath Stupa is a Buddhist holy site also known as the monkey temple. The dome-shaped Stupa with eyes on all four sides is absolutely beautiful. The view of the whole Kathmandu valley from the top of the stupa is breathtaking. 

Pashupatinath Temple: The holy Hindu temple, Pashupatinath is the temple of Lord Shiva and also comprises many other temples. This UNESCO world heritage site is magnificent in structure and the holy Bagmati River that flows alongside is where cremation rituals is performed.

Patan Durbar Square: One of the best attractions here is the ancient royal palace of the Malla Kings of Lalitpur. There are various other temples such as Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen Temple, TalejuBhawani Temple, etc., and the Patan Museum to explore. Overnight at hotel. Breakfast included.

Day 3 : Sightseeing Tour: Patan&Bhaktapur

After the early morning flight, you will be taken sightseeing at two medieval cities of the Kathmandu Valley and Bhaktapur.

Boudhanath Stupa: Situated on the northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu, this is another holy place for Buddhists. The dome, mandala, pinnacle, umbrella, and the whole Stupa itself is a true work of art and beauty. Recently renovated Stupa post-earthquake gives serenity to the crowded city.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square: Bhaktapur was the capital of Nepal during the great Malla Kingdom. Bhaktapur has the best-preserved palace courtyards and old city center in Nepal and is listed as a world heritage site of UNESCO for its rich culture, temples, and wood, metal and stone artworks. You will be taken to the attraction sites such as Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Nyatapola Temple, BhairabNath Temple, Dattatreya Temple.

After the sightseeing, we will head back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel. Breakfast included. 

Day 4 : Drive/Flight to Pokhara, Evening witness the sunset

The early morning takes us to the highway heading towards Pokhara which will take around 7 hours on a continuous drive. The beautiful Pokhara city. The town offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, five peaks of Annapurna and many others. Pokhara is also the gateway for trekking in the Annapurna Region. Upon reaching to the city, we will check in to the hotel.Day time explorer lake side, will do one hour boating also evening witness the sunset views from world peace pagoda. Overnight at Hotel. Breakfast and Lunch included.

Day 5 : Full Day Pokhara Sightseeing with Sarangkot Sunrise

We spend full day exploring the beautiful city of Pokhara. Early morning we drive to Sarangkot Hill for the breathtaking sunrise view over the Himalayas and above the clouds. After breakfast, we get prepared for a full day sightseeing at Pokhara. Some other places we will visit will be the famous Bindabasini Temple, the Seti gorge, Davis Falls, International Mountain Museum and many other cultural and natural landscapes.Overnight at Hotel. Breakfast included.  


Day 6 : Drive to Chitwan

Today we take an early morning breakfast and drive to Chitwan, 140 kilometers from Pokhara and a 5 hour's drive into the plains. We check in to the hotel as soon as we reach Chitwan where after getting refreshed you will be briefed about full nature programs by our nature guide. We get ready for the activities at Chitwan. We go for a guided village walk and a walk on the banks of the Rapti River to watch the best sunset and the changing color of the horizons from the sub-tropical jungle. In the evening, we go for a dinner with cultural program by the Tharus- the ethnic tribal people with their stick dance and tribal drums.

Day 7 : Full Day Sightseeing atChitwan National Park including Jungle Safari

The Chitwan National Park has been declared as a World Heritage Siteby UNESCO. The early morning breakfast leads you to the National Park for a jeep safari or an elephant safari. You can spot wild buffaloes, rhinoceros, deer’s, peacocks and many other animals during the safari. We have lunch after the jungle safari and head out for a canoe ride at the Rapti River. You can spot the reptile’s viz. crocodiles, ghariyals, birds viz. cranes, etc. during the ride. Later in the evening you will be takes for the visit to the elephant breeding center. You can see the elephant being trained by the Tharus. You can also see the ethnic Tharu people, their villages, the typical customs and traditions etc. during the jungle walk. The rest of the evening can be spent watching sunsets from the river bank and spending wonderful time at Sauraha.Overnight at Hotel. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.


Day 8 : Drive back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, we start our 185 kilometers drive back to Kathmandu. The best way to enjoy the sceneries and the view of the country side is by choosing the left pane of the vehicle. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the hotel. The rest of the time at Kathmandu can be used and utilized to stroll around the Thamel area, buy gifts, souvenirs etc. the evening can be spent leisurely and have the best dinner at the evening.

Day 9 : Transfer to the International Airport for departure

This is your last day in Kathmandu. After breakfast, you will be fetched upon by our guide; 3 hours prior to your flight time and drop you at the Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure.Breakfast Included.
