Langtang Valley Trek 11N/12D


Trekking in Langtang region is attractive due to its offer trekkers gorgeous valley and pilgrimage tourist attractions for both Hindus and Buddhists.Langtang Valley is the bordering Himalayan Region from Kathmandu valley, few hours drive from Kathmandu will take you to the beautiful Langtang region. Despite being very close to Kathmandu, the Langtang Region is as wild as any Tibetan highlands with pleasant rural landscape. The people living in the highlands of the Langtang region are certainly Nepalese but being the descendant of the Tibetan origin, they look like the Tibetans. Hence, Langtang region is one of the most popular trekking regions for those wishing a short trek from Kathmandu into the Himalayas influenced by Tibetan lifestyle. Moreover, accompanying with the varieties of rhododendron, bamboo forests, majestic waterfalls and snow-capped Himalayas make the trek one of the most diverse treks.It is rewarding trek in a less frequented area.

Day 01 : Kathmandu arrival (1300m)

Up on arrival in Kathmandu, we will welcome you at the airport then transfer to you hotel. Evening welcome dinner with cultural show.Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Kathmandu sightseeing.

Having breakfast then start an interesting tour around Kathmandu. We will arrange a tour guide of your chosen language to give you a tour and introduction to our rich culture amongst our ancient and fascinating history and religion.Am: Boudhanath & Pashupatinath. Pm: Patan Durbar Square and Soyambhunath then back to hotel.Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 : Kathmandu –Dhunche (1966m)

Today we heading to Dhunche.Travelling through Trishuli (Nuwakot). it will take you 7 to 8 hours.Overnight at Dhunche.

Day 04 : Dhunche to Syabru Gaun (2581m)

Trek from Dhunche to Syabru Gaon (2581m.) which takes about five and half hours. Trek to Syabru Gaon (6950ft, 2120m). The trek today is very leisurely through forests and terraced hill slopes. As you enter Syabru, you descend to the ridgeline that separates the Langtang Khola from the Trisuli River. Syabru is a beautiful village stretched out along the ridgeline. The sunset is spectacular, brilliantly backlighting the houses perched on the ridgeline above. From here you can enjoy spectacular view of Lantang Lirung (7245m.), Tibetan Himal ranges and so on.Overnight at Syabru Gaun.

Day 05 : Syabru Gaun to Lama Hotel(2470m)

Trek from Syabru Gaon to Lama Hotel (2470m.) and it takes about five hours. The trail descends along the ridge on Syabru's main street and then drop to the Ghopche Khola (2050 m.) and again descends to the Landslide (1810m.). Afterwards, you trek ascends gently to Rimche (2400m.) through Bamboo (1960m.) and at the end your trail is level to the Lama Hotel. En route you could see red pandas, monkey and bear if you are lucky.Overnight at Lama hotel.

Day 06 : Lama Hotel To Langtang Village (3430m)

Having breakfast then heading to Langtang village.Your gentle climb to begin with soon steepens high above the river to Ghora Tabela. (2970m).  You will soon find yourself in open country with scattered Tamang settlements.Overnight at Langtang Village.

Day 07 : Langtang Village To Kyanjing (3870m)

You will climb to the ridge this morning marked with a big chorten and some Mani walls, from here you will have views of Kyanjing Gompa and the icefall from Langtang Lirung surrounded by snowy mountains.  You will be walking for around 3 hours today so time to explore the area this afternoon.Overnight at Kyanjing.

Day 08 : Rest Day at Kyaangjin

Rest day at Kyangjin Gompa and excursion in and around. This is day to rest and explore the area. You can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri [4350m], directly behind the village, for a breath-taking panorama of the Langtang peaks.

Day 09 : Kyanjing Gompa to Lama Hotel

You will return the way you came today following the Langtang Khola river to Langtang Village and on to Ghoda Tabela and down to Lama Hotel.O/at hotel.

Day 10 : Lama Hotel To Syabru Besi

Heading to Syabru Besi.The beginning of your journey today is very pretty and offers magnificent views.  You will begin descending gently before it steepens to Syabrubesi, taking about 5 hours in total.

Day 11 : Syabrubesi To Kathmandu Drive

Drive from Syabru Besi to Kathmandu by bus, which takes about 8-9 hours.Overnighat at Kathmandu.

Day 12 : Farewell friend.

We will transfer you airport as per your flight time.
