The trip begins at Kathmandu taking you for the sightseeing of the culturally rich cities; Kathmandu and Bhaktapur. We also make a visit to the holy Pashupatinath temple, the famous pilgrimage for Buddhists, Swoyambhunath temple and a Boudhanath Stupa. You also get to be a part of the most beautiful sunrise and sunset from the top of the hill of Nagarkot. The trip then takes you to the beautiful city of lakes, waterfalls, gateway to the mountains of the Annapurna region etc. i.e. Pokhara.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu:
Our airport representative will receive you at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and transfer to your hotel. Depending upon the time of your arrival, pre-trip meeting will be hosted either on the first day or the first hour of the second day. During the evening, you will be taken for a traditional Nepali welcome dinner with cultural performances.

Day 02: Full day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu:
After your morning breakfast, you will be received by your guide for the sightseeing at Kathmandu. The sites you will be taken for are:
SwoyambhuNath Stupa: Located on the top of the hill, Swoyambhunath Stupa is a Buddhist holy site also known as the monkey temple. The dome shaped Stupa with eyes on all four sides is absolutely beautiful. The view of the whole Kathmandu valley from the top of the stupa is breath taking.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: Located at the heart of Kathmandu, Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the ancient palaces in Kathmandu Valley; Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square being the other two. The Durbar Square comprises of a palace, a courtyard, the temples and various statues.
Pashupatinath Temple: The holy Hindu temple, Pashupatinath is the temple of Lord Shiva and also comprises of many other temples. This UNESCO world heritage site is magnificent in structure and the holy Bagmati River that flows alongside is where cremation rituals is performed.
Boudhanath Stupa: Situated to the north eastern outskirts of Kathmandu, this is another holy place for the Buddhists. The dome, mandala, pinnacle, the umbrella and the whole Stupa itself is a true work of art and beauty. Recently renovated Stupa post-earthquake gives the serenity in the crowded city.

Day 03: Full day guided sightseeing in Bhaktapur. Overnight at Nagarkot
Bhaktapur is another ancient Newar city rich in culture and cultural heritage sites. After the morning breakfast you will be taken for sightseeing around this city to the following places.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square: Bhaktapur Durbar Square is yet another ancient palace which is rich in the temples, the courtyards, the architectural showpieces, the statues and various ponds. The city is also rich in the famous Juju Dhau (yoghurt), the Lion Gate and Fifty five window palace. The Lion Gate was built by King RanjitMalla as the entrance for the courtyard.
Changu Narayan: Situated on the top of a hill of the Changu village, Changu Narayan is a Hindu Temple or a temple of Lord Vishnu-the preserver. The temple is considered to be one of the oldest shrines of Kathmandu valley as its origin is believed to be of the 4th century. The temple is the best example of the carved woods, the metal crafts and the stones.After completion of the sightseeing we head on to the beautiful Nagarkot Hill for the magnificent sunrise and sunsets the hill has to offer.Overnight at a Hotel in Nagarkot. Day 04: Drive to Pokhara
Today, we wake up early for the sunrise view from the hilltop and have a heavy breakfast. After breakfast we get ready for the drive to Pokhara. Along the way we can see beautiful mountains, hills, rivers etc. which is heartwarming. After a drive of 7 hours we reach Pokhara, a very beautiful city in Nepal which is also the gateway to Annapurna region. The Annapurna mountain range & Fishtail Mountain are the main ornament of Pokhara which can easily be seen from the city. Upon reaching, you are transferred to the hotel. After refreshment you may explore around the Phewa Lake & lake side bazaar.

Day 05: Full Day Pokhara Sightseeing with Sarangkot Sunrise
We spend full day exploring the beautiful city of Pokhara. Early morning we drive to Sarangkot Hill for the breathtaking sunrise view over the Himalayas and above the clouds. After breakfast, we get prepared for a full day sightseeing at Pokhara. We enjoy walking along the bank of Phewa Lake and admire the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail in the waters of the lake. We take a boat and go for a short ride, visit the TaalBarahi Temple in the middle of the lake and walk up the hill to Peace Pagoda. Some other places we will visit will be the famous Bindabasini Temple, the Seti gorge, Davis Falls, International Mountain Museum and many other cultural and natural landscapes.

Day 06: Explore Pokhara. Adventure Activities.
Today we visit World peace pagoda and Tibetan refugee camp. You can take an optional tour as follows:
Paragliding in Pokhara
Paragliding in Pokhara gives the opportunity to experience an aerial view of the Himalayas. Can you imagine sharing the same air space with the Himalayan griffin vultures, eagles and kites as you soar over the rivers, Lakes and villages? The mountains Loom over you to your north and below you the landscape is dotted with paddy fields and hamlets. Probably that’s why Pokhara is amongst the hotspots for Paragliding in the world. The flying season commences from September through February, November and December being the best months. Sarangkot is graded as one of the top five-paragliding destinations in the world.
Ultra-light Aircraft in Pokhara
Ultra-light aircrafts offer breathtaking bird's-eye view of Pokhara valley and the surrounding mountains. Flights take place from sunrise to 11 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to sunset every day provided the weather is not rainy. In the half an hour flight, one can fly over Pokhara city, Phewa Lake, Sarangkot hill and get close to Mt. Fishtail. Another option is the exploration of Annapurna range from 12,000 feet or higher in an hour.
World Peace Pagoda Hiking
World Peace Pagoda is situated at the height of 1,592 meters above sea level. It is close from Pokhara valley and very popular for one day hiking. It is a best view point to see Himalaya parallel and closely without going up to the mountains. World Peace Pagoda is generally cool, even during the summer months. This is an interesting hiking through forest of rhododendron and oak trees, terraced field accompanying by the view of the lake and the mountains. It takes 2 hours walk gradually uphill after crossing Phewa Lake. The view up there is exhilarating. After returning back to the Lake side, the rest of the time can be spent relaxing and chilling by the beautiful lake.
Day 07: Fly/ Drive back to Kathmandu
Wake up early morning and prepare to head back to Kathmandu. You can opt for flight or a drive which will take 30 mins and 7 hours respectively. The confirmation of the travel choice can be made during the bookings. Upon arrival at Kathmandu, you will be met and transferred back to the hotel. The leisure time can be spent strolling around Thamel, buying gifts and souvenirs.

Day 08: Transfer to the International Airport for departure
This is your last day in Kathmandu. After breakfast, you will be fetched upon by our guide; 3 hours prior to your flight time and drop you at the Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure.
