Everest Base Camp trek is one of the most famous and highly demanded trek in Nepal. The trails leads to the footsteps of Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Edmund Hillary, the first Mount Everest summiteers. The scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla takes you through the most adventurous airport in the world. Everything in this trek is at an extreme level. The adventure, fun, the mesmerizing beauty of the glossy mountains, the captivating moments with snow, the stay in the heart of the Himalayas all give the best pleasures of life. The ultimate challenge in the EBC trail is the altitude for which one needs to be prepared. Other than that, the panoramic view of the mountains, the mountain ranges from Kala patthar, the lifestyle of the bravest Sherpas, the drastic change in the culture and traditions, everything is truly exhilarating.
EBC trek further offers the opportunities to go sightseeing around Sagarmatha National Park, a world heritage site which is a home to a variety of Himalayan floras and faunas, to get a closer look at the highest Buddhist monasteries in the world, and of course the most gratifying of them all, the walk to Everest Base Camp itself.
