Jomsom Muktinath Trek 13N/14D

Jomsom Muktinath Trek is most popular trekking in Nepal. For the travelers Nepal is a treasure trove of to explorer.  Make an adventure starting from world's deepest gorge Kali Gandaki Region into world's highest regions passing through an almost tree-less barren landscape, a steep rocky trail up and down hill and panoramic views of Nilgiri, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and several other peaks. The Trekking area situated on the dry, desert- like Tibetan Plateau.

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival (1300m)

Arrival in Kathmandu, we will welcome you at the airport then transfer to you hotel. Evening welcome dinner with cultural show.Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing.

Having breakfast then start an interesting tour around Kathmandu. We will arrange a tour guide of your chosen language to give you a tour and introduction to our rich culture amongst our ancient and fascinating history and religion. Am: Boudhanath & Pashupatinath. Pm: Patan Durbar Square and Soyambhunath then back to hotel.Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Heading to Pokhara

Early morning heading to Pokhara via Tourist bus which takes 6-7 hours. You may use flight which takes just 25 min.Evening Boating at fewa lake and rounding near the lake side area. O/N at Hotel.

Day 04: Drive and trek to Tikhedhunga (1575m)

We head to Nayapul by a private vehicle with driver (1.30 hrs).The trek starts from Nayapool to Trikhedhunga (1575m) crossing the village of Birethanti and following the bank of Bhurungdi Khola. We rest overnight at Tikhedhunga.

Day 05: Trek from Tikhedhunga (1575m) to Ghorepani (2657m)

Morning have a breakfast and start to trek. Our trail is ascent gradually and gets more altitudes places. Our trail goes through the village of Ulleri (2070m) and we will enable to see the close up view of Fishtail, Hinchuli and Annapurna South. Our trail will be more colorful while our trail passes from Rhododedron and shadowy trees. Finally we will get Ghorepani.Overnight at lodge.

Day 06: Ghorepani to Tatopani(1,190m).

Heading to Tatopani which takes 5 hours. On the way to Tatopani, we descend steeply to Sikha, a large village & further descend to Ghar Khola Village. After crossing suspension bridge it climbs up at Tatopani. Tatopani, meaning Hot Water in Nepali derives its name from the hot springs there. The hot springs are popular among the trekker to sooth their tired leg muscles'/n at Tatopani.

Day 07: Trek to Tatopani to Ghasa(2110mt).

Wake uo early morning then head to Ghasa.You have to follow the trail that ascends gently up the Kali Gandaki Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world, towards the village of Dana, which is surrounded by orange groves. En route, you come across local people selling baskets of oranges. Just beyond the small hamlet of Rupse, a thundering waterfall cascades down beside the trail. Thereafter, the trail enters the steepest and narrowest section of the gorge. You will find the layered stone path well-constructed and wide. As the rock cliff ends, you head towards Ghasa, a quaint Thakali village. You can see several flat-roofed Tibetan style houses in Ghasa.O/N at Ghasa.

Day 08: Trek from Ghasa to Marpha (2,680m).

Having breakfast then heading to Marpha. We need to a steep climb through forest takes to Lete Khola then reach to Lete. It further continues to the east side of the Kaligandaki reach you Larjung Village. From Larjung, we cross trail via Tukche at 2590m and apple farm projects which produces apple and vegetable for the whole region until you get to Marpha Village.O/N at Marpha.

Day 09: Marpha to Kagbeni (2,810m).

We head to Kagbeni. Kagbeni is an interesting windswept villages situated on the main age old Trans himalayan salt trade route to Tibet via Upper Mustang area.O/N at Kagbeni.

Day 10: Trek to Kagbeni to Muktinath (3,710m).

Wake up early in the morning then start our journey to Mukninath. From Kagbeni the path climbs steeply to re-join the direct trail leading to Khingar at 3200m. The trail climbs through a desert landscape till Jarkot Village.O/N at Muktinath.

Day 11: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2,715m).

Muktinath is one of most significant destination for Hindus pilgrimage. It also holds an important place for the Buddhists. In the morning, we visit the Muktinath Temple of the Lord Vishnu. Heading away from Muktinath, you retrace your steps to Jomsom taking on the magnificent view of Nilgiri.O/N at Jomsom.

Day 12: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara.

Morning you will fly form jomsom to Pokhara. It’s a 30-min dramatic flight to Pokhara between gorge of the two huge mountains, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri.Once when been Pokhara airport then we will transfer to you hotel. Day time you may sightseeing or relax/N at Hotel.

Day 13: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by a tourist bus – 6hours. Optional: can use fight which takes 25 min.O/N at Kathmandu Hotel.

Day 14: Farewell friend.

We will transfer you airport as per your flight time.

Kathmandu& Pokhara: we will arrange any category hotel in Kathmandu & Pokhara as per your request.

Mountain Region: During the trekking, we will arrange you accommodation at standard tea house or lodge. Room on twin sharing basis.


Kathmandu& Pokhara: We offer you breakfast in the hotel in Kathmandu& Pokhara but you have to pay your own lunch and dinner.

Trekking: We will provide all meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) during the trekking in Mountain area.

Guide & Porter during the trekking:

We will provide a professional trekking guide (license holder) and insured staffs as well. The number of porter depends on group size. We will provide their salary, accommodation, insurance, medicine and meals during trekking.

Travel Insurance:

All trekkers / travelers are requested to insure their travel insurance before heading to Jomsom Muktinath Trek. Please note that the insurance should be covered medical, air ambulance, helicopter rescue, and all treatment costs.
